We really enjoyed our stay here, especially the breathtaking view when we took the kids paragliding near Blencathra. The inn’s warm atmosphere and the cozy pub made it a delightful spot for family dinners, and everyone loved the freshly cooked breakfast each morning.
My kids wished there were more activities specifically for families, like a better play area or some indoor games for bad weather.

We had a delightful stay with a cozy room that had a beautiful view and enjoyed the delicious lamb dish for lunch. The terrace was perfect for unwinding with a drink in the evening, and the garden area was such a peaceful spot. Breakfast was a bit of a letdown with weak coffee and just okay food, but we’d definitely recommend this lovely place! 👍

Impressive accommodations with a homely feel, complemented by friendly staff. The spacious bathroom and comfy bed made the stay enjoyable. encountering a freezing initial room and cleanliness issues significantly marred the experience, and a second room felt cramped with inadequate space. A thorough update and cleaning would elevate this establishment immensely.
